Day Care Services
Dartington Housing Association is pleased to announce that we have enhanced and expanded the services we provide for older people at our main site at Forder Lane in Dartington. We have been in the business of providing services for older people for almost 50 years now and we wish to continue this tradition. We are keen to introduce new ideas into day services and we particularly want to work with individuals to maximise their potential. Get together with like minded people and determine your own activities working with our Day Care Assistant. Sessions take place in a specially built annex to the Care Home. We will be seeking to arrange a wide range of interesting activities, outings and therapies such as:
Aroma therapy * Tai Chi*
And of course there will be all the other services which you would expect to be provided:

The opportunity to meet with other people locally in a relaxed, safe, caring environment;

Enjoy a hot lunch;

The opportunity to have a hot bath, with assistance if required;

Help with personal care;

The chance to join in with group activities

Learn new skills or hobbies;

The occasional trip out
We will also offer access to a computer connected to the internet. Services will be covered by our Quality Assurance Framework.
